4th Class meets 4th Year!

Nenagh College TY Students invited 4th class students from Nenagh Community National School to learn French. Over 4 weeks the TY students prepared and delivered classes, teaching them Halloween phrases, how to count to 20 and sing Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes in French, finishing off with fun facts about the Eiffel Tower and showing them how to build their very own model with spaghetti and marshmallows!
Lots of fun and learning took place while building friendships and connections between our schools. The TY students thoroughly enjoyed the project and had the opportunity to see what a career in primary school teaching is like.
The 4th class students really enjoyed the experience of learning a new language, getting to observe what secondary school is like and getting a feel for what TY is all about and what they can look forward to in the future.
We are looking forward to inviting them back in January for some more French Classes.
