Our first-year boys were in action today in the first year Collins Cup competition against Coláiste Iósaef Community College Killmallock.
Nenagh started brightly taking the lead very early on with a well worked goal finished by Filip Wiewiora. Killmallock hit back with an equaliser shortly after.
As the first half was drawing to a close, killmallock struck another goal taking them in 2-1 up at the break.
Nenagh battled hard and in the dying, moments scored a fantastically worked equaliser finished by Bartosz Zelek. The game then headed for extra time.
In the first half of extra time Killmallock struck two goals in quick succession.
Nenagh pushed very hard and had some very good chances to try and claw themselves back into the game but couldn’t convert them.
The final score was 4-2. Well done to the first-year boys who represented the school superbly.

During this time students were prompted throughout the school day to care for their baby’s needs, which included feeding, changing nappies and settling a fussy baby. At home student had a prescribed list of tasks to care for the babies. Well done to all students and staff involved, it was a very enjoyable activity for all.
