Socks for the Homeless Appeal
Molly Gillick is finishing her Socks for the Homeless appeal today. Over 1000 pairs of socks have been collected, which is well in excess of her target of 750.
She and her family will distribute them to the homeless in Limerick. Well done to Molly and her family for driving this Initiative and thanks for your generous support of this worthy cause.

“Thank you for all you have sacrificed and for your resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic.” reads the inscription on a wooden sculpture crafted by Nenagh College student, Juliette Kerin & presented to Prof. Brian Lenehan for the staff at UHLÂ
Juliette says “The dedication & contribution of frontline and essential workers is valued in our society. My brief was to design and make a decorative artefact which could be presented to a person or group in appreciation of their support to others.”
