SciFest 2016

Scifest@school was held in Nenagh College on Tuesday 2nd March. The aim of this science fair is to encourage a love of science, technology and maths through active, collaborative, inquiry-based learning and to provide a forum for students at local, regional and national level to present and display their scientific investigations.

Eight projects will represent Nenagh College in LIT Thurles 4th May Music and the Brain by Thyra Burke and Thomas Galvin, No taste without Saliva by Eva Lawlor and Rebecca Kenneally,  Testing juices for vitamin C content by Allanah Dunne, Denise Cullagh and Joseph Donnelan, Crisp taste test by Sandra Boland and Leah Gleeson, Evaporation of liquids by Joe Kitson, Kieran O Connor and Johnny Hogan, Freshest Flowers by Emily Donnellan,  Dry Eye Syndrome by Aaron Reilly and Adam Fitzgerald and investigating the speed of light using chocolate by Katelyn Ryan and Leanne Ryan
