The last day of #thinklanguages week was a whole school event where Language and Sport got together.
Every year group got involved in our World Cup Soccer Blitz organised by the Champion Team with the help of their TY group.
Funds raised from the Blitz will be donated to the Irish Deaf Society.
The countries represented were India, France, Turkey, Germany, Italy, China, Mexico Canada, Spain, Greece, Austria, Poland, Ireland, Eygypt, Netherlands, Portugal, Wales and Japan.
Both the players and supporters enjoyed the event.
Mexico and Portugal made it to the final and Portugal were crowned the Winning Team, who were presented with what will now be a perpetual trophy as we look forward to making this a yearly Think Languages Event!
