Today our Transition Year and 6th Year Irish class went to the Taibhdhearc Theatre in Galway to see the play ‘An Triail’.  This play is on the leaving Certificate Irish course. An Triail is a pivotal play in modern Irish literature, written by Máiréad Nà Ghráda and first performed in 1964. The play is set in the 1960s and explores deeply societal themes such as the treatment of women, hypocrisy, and the harsh realities faced by unwed mothers in conservative Irish society.  Bhà  an dráma ar fheabhas agus chuir le tuiscint an dráma. Is deas é a fheiceáil beo ar an stáitse.
