- As part of a Key assignment for their HCT, Hotel, Catering and Tourism module, students had to make a tourist trail within Ireland. They choose Galway as their area to research and visit. Each student had to identify a tourist activity in Galway. We visited them and they gave a presentation at their chosen tourist sight.

- Nenagh College Home Economics Gingerbread house Competition was open to all students, the only rule was that all elements of the gingerbread house had to be edible. Congratulations to Ana and Marina who won joint first place for their beautiful creations.

- 5th and 6th year students were treated to a very interesting guest speaker who showed them different ways to be creative with food to help reduce food waste in our homes.

- 5th year Home Economics Students took Well Being week seriously when they made Scones for every student and staff member in the school. They then served them with Tea or Coffee.
