The Social Studies Post Leaving Certificate class visited the Limerick Mosque & Islamic Cultural Center on Thursday 23 March 2022, as part of their Intercultural Studies module with their tutor Paula Hannigan & Rochelle Maharaj. A huge thank you to the Imam Khalid Ghafoor from the mosque who enlightened the students about Islam. The visit highlighted the importance of intercultural awareness in breaking down prejudicial attitudes, stereotypes and discrimination.
