Miss Carey’s second year CSPE class organised a project to collect money for Crumlin Children Hospital. There were two fundraisers held. Starting with a soccer blitz in which each person participating would have to contribute €2. There was also a sweet jar competition where students had to pay 50c for 3 attempts to guess how many sweets were in a jar.
There were events committee, finance committee, permission group, raffle group and the advertising committee. Each of these groups contributed a large amount to the project.
Miss Carey’s HCT class contributed €100 from a restaurant event they held.
In total €450 was raised for the Children’s Hospital. The class would like to thank everyone who contributed to the fund.
