Madagascar the Musical

Our Nenagh College Drama Club had the opportunity to attend a production in the Gaiety Theatre in Dublin. Students from 1st and 2nd year travelled with their teachers Ms.Corrigan & Ms.Hartnett to see ‘Madagascar the Musical’. Students thoroughly enjoyed the theatre  experience. They witnessed  a performance come to life with use of props, sound effects , choreography , lighting and of course the incredible costumes! Hopefully in the future we will return to the Gaiety to see some of our own up on that stage!
Drama Club continues every Thursday at lunchtime in the music room.
 All welcome

The Irish Pilgrimage Trust

The Irish Pilgrimage Trust brings children and young people with special needs on a week-long Pilgrimage Holiday to Lourdes each Easter. This is very unique and often life enhancing experience for all those involved. 400 young people with additional needs are invited as Guests. Earlier in the Year Nenagh College raised fund for the event. Two 5th year students were invited to participate in the  Easter Pilgrimage. Molly May Gillick and Cameron Shoer in 5th Year Leaving Certificate Applied were lucky enough to experience the trip!

2nd Year History

Well done to our 2nd Year History students who were busy revising their Irish history and completing fantastic projects. They put in lots of time and effort into their work and it really shows in the final results.

Cinema Trip

Our 2nd and 3rd year students attended Nenagh Omniplex on Friday and saw the World War 2 film Jojo Rabbit. We would like to extend our thanks to all of the Omniplex staff, teachers and students who helped to organise and participate in the movie experience.
